Our Approach:
We are committed to ongoing ethical and low-impact practices to do our part in supporting our communities and environment. We produce on a made-to-order basis to reduce waste and encourage mindful consumption. With a focus on discerning design - we advocate for consuming less, but better on pieces that you’ll continually cherish.
Community:
Our brand is founded on supporting and amplifying women, with a special emphasis on Black women and those from racialized communities. Through genuinely recognizing, celebrating and valuing their contributions, we strive to foster lasting, equitable change for the next generation.
Our Materials:
We use a mix of materials in our production. While our primary goal is to use the most sustainable option, we currently use some synthetic-blend materials, which provide added benefits such as wrinkle resistance and durability. As we evolve, we are prioritizing incorporating the use of fully organic, recycled and responsibly-sourced natural fibres to substitute our current synthetic materials.
We aim to have a minimum of 80% of our raw materials derived from sustainable or renewable sources.
Labels:
All of our sewn in labels, such as our name, size and care tags are made using 100% recycled polyester.
Packaging:
We pay special attention to low-impact practices, and waste reduction using our intentionally designed, minimal and plastic-free packaging.
Our cardboard mailer boxes are made from recycled materials and we wrap your pieces using small amounts of FSC-certified tissue paper.
The printed postcards and hand tags are fully recyclable and made using 100% recycled, post consumer materials and printed with plant-based, biomass inks.
